Highlighted Employee
Scott Conner
Scott Conner is the first name you see, when a list of employees is pulled at Doxon Toyota that doesn't have the last name of Doxon. Scott started his employment with Doxon Toyota right out of high school as a Lube Tech in July of 1978. "I started right when they moved into what was the current location."
Moving to Line Tech in 1983 and to Master Technician and Hybrid Certified in 1990. Scott is the senior Master Technician of the Green Team.
"I enjoy seeing the same cars over the years and talking to our customers about them and the new cars they have bought." Scott knows when certain customers are at Doxon Toyota by just seeing their cars being driven into his stall or a nearby stall.
It's been great seeing the changes with Doxon Toyota over the years. Going from a facility with 12 bays to now a new state-of-the-art building and facility with 27 bays. This only allows us to continue to give our customers the best service we can and now the ability to stream line some of our procedures. "With 27 bays this allow me to keep one vehicle up and work on another in the next stall. Instead of taking one off the lift and putting another one on. Saving the customer and me some time"
"The changes in cars over the years has been something. Especially with the computer systems. Each model year there are more computers then the last. Our education continues each year with more training on these systems."
Scott looks forward to retiring and being able to say that he has been with only one employer over all these years. Along with Jill, his wife of 29 years, they like to travel, go camping and seeing the sites. Scott owns a Honda VTX 1800 motorcycle which he likes to take out on rides.
Scott Conner is one of the reasons our customers are so loyal. When someone can buy a car from Doxon Toyota and have it serviced by the same Master Technician who has been here over 32 years a high level of trust and of service can be established that is hard to find anywhere else.
Stacey Jensen
Stacey Jensen has been with the Doxon Toyota family since 1996, when she was 18 years old. Beginning as a part-time Cashier, she moved to full time Receptionist and Dealer Trade Clerk within a month of starting. In 2003 Stacey moved to Accounts Payable/Receivable and the processing of car deals. Six years later, in early 2009, she became Office Manager. "She's the Mother Hen for Doxon Toyota," commented one employee.
2010 was a big year for Stacey, she married long time boy friend Chris and they had their first child. "Motherhood is more than I ever imagined. It turns out that everything everybody told me is true. There are days when everything is upside down, but when I look at his little face everything is good again. Family is very important, coming from a large family, I find it very rewarding to have my own now."
When asked where she sees herself in 10 years, she laughed and said, "Well, I see larger families for both my personal and business lives. The one thing I'd love to see is the same faces I see every day and just keep adding to them. I feel privileged to have found the Doxon Toyota family and have been blessed to be able say I have been with the same company for 14 years and hope that in the next 30 years to retire from Doxon Toyota."

In 1977, Duane was part of a then record setting year for sales for Doxon Toyota, with only three Salespeople and Gary Doxon, the Owner, they sold over 1000 new vehicles. It was also in 1977 that Duane sold one vehicle that changed his life forever, get back to that later.
