2016 Toyota Highlander near Federal Way

As far as family SUVs go, the 2016 Toyota Highlander near Federal Way is one of our favorites here at Doxon Toyota. Created for those who are not interested in a massive, gas-guzzling SUV or a small crossover that cannot fit the entire family, the Highlander can fit up to eight people, but the option for a seven-passenger interior can be had in certain trim models. These models use captain's chairs in the second row instead of a bench seat. With plenty of safety, utility, performance and interior space, it is no wonder the Highlander is a winner among smart family buyers.

2016 Toyota Highlander Systems

Beyond the features you would expect in your new Toyota vehicle, the 2016 Toyota Highlander near Federal Way offers even more in the way of style and revolutionary systems. For the new model year, the Highlander has been given exciting and bold new design pieces, like a more aggressive grille to aid in airflow. Even the available integrated Chromtec roof rails have an aerodynamic shape to minimize overhead noise. Because we know space in your SUV is important, we love the improved cargo space thanks to a new rear suspension designed to do just that. The 60/40 split third-row seat helps to give you more passenger space or prioritize cargo space when needed. The interior is outfitted with silencing insulation materials along its floor as well as acoustic-type glass in the windshield for a quiet ride.

Features of the 2016 Toyota Highlander near Federal Way

The standard model 2016 Toyota Highlander near Federal Way includes features like automatic headlights, heated exterior mirrors, a rear spoiler, cruise control, a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a 6.1-inch central touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system with voice control, a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack and USB port. This model is powered by a 2.7L four-cylinder engine providing 185 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. Other trim models use a 3.5L V6 engine providing 270 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The transmission on this is again a six-speed automatic and is then connected to either a front- or all-wheel drivetrain. The two-wheel drivetrain is standard, but Toyota's all-wheel drive option is well worth it.
